2006: Philosophy BA (Environmental Ethics, Aesthetics). Thesis: "Novelty & Accountability."
2007: Volunteer work at the Wallis Arboretum, headquarters of The Garden Club of Kentucky (GardenClubKy.org).
2007-11: Backyard gardening phase + public library work.
2013: Began apprenticing under native plant designer Beate Popkin (LivingGardensKentucky.com).
2014: Founded Leafhopper Landscaping.
2017: Began designing annual public displays at Debra Hensley’s office (DebraHensley.com), located at 1513 Nicholasville Road.
2017: Joined the board of the Central Kentucky Ornamental and Turf Association (CKOTA.com).
2019: Renovation of the glade demonstration garden at Floracliff Nature Sanctuary (Floracliff.org).
2021: Joined the board of our local chapter of Wild Ones (Lexington.WildOnes.org).
2021: Designed the Blue Grass Community Foundation's (BGCF.org) pollinator garden at 499 East High Street.
Other notable work:
Assisted with planting the Wellington Park pollinator garden alongside Wild Ones.
Assisted with planting three gardens sponsored by LFUCG sustainability grants (2013, 2014, 2016) alongside the Idle Hour Neighbors Alliance (IdleHourNeighbors.org).
Recognition by the Lexington Council Garden Clubs (LexGardenClubs.org) in their "Lexington in Bloom” contest.
Professional work in over 100 private gardens.
